About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join The Telegraph's audio and video department as a producer of our flagship daily news podcast, The Daily T. You will work alongside the senior and executive producers to lead the delivery of our award-winning daily podcasts, collaborating closely with presenters, the video editor, and social producer to bring each episode to life across multiple visual, audio, and social platforms. The role involves daily planning, producing, editing, and publishing episodes, managing podcast assets, and helping to grow The Daily T’s podcast slate including Royal T and Weekend T. You will also work with the video editor and social media producer to optimise content for YouTube and social media, aiming to grow our audience. This role requires proactive planning, reactive editorial decision-making, and working to tight deadlines within an always-on news environment.

Experience
- Leading the production of visualised shows for broadcast, podcasts, or digital news platforms
- Gallery producing live or as-live studio recordings
- Audio editing and audio/video editing for longform video and social media clips
- Working across audio and video platforms to produce content from a single source
- Knowledge of multicamera and audio feed studios
- High proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Audition
- Producing outside broadcasts, live events, and shoots
- Creating quick turnaround content under tight deadlines in an always-on news environment
- Booking newsworthy and headline-making guests for interviews
- Using digital CMS and social media publishing platforms
- Working with wider newsrooms and high-profile journalists and presenters
- Using YouTube analytics and data to inform production and publication
- Strong editorial judgement and full knowledge of media law
About You
A deep passion for news with strong awareness of the daily news agenda, an interest in developing new digital formats, and building podcast communities. You will have excellent editorial judgement, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
