Salary

About the Role
We are seeking a Product and Delivery Manager to lead the Centre for Collective Intelligence’s flagship digital deliberation product, Zeitgeist, and to drive the delivery of new digital tools that embed participation and deliberation in public decision-making. This role involves owning the product roadmap and backlog, managing a multidisciplinary product team, and balancing feature development with commercial priorities. You will also manage the full lifecycle of new digital products—from user research and prototyping through to build, testing, delivery, and scaling. Additionally, you will support business development activities, focusing on securing philanthropic or grant funding to resource product development and growth.

You will be responsible for:
- Owning and prioritising the Zeitgeist product backlog and setting a balanced roadmap
- Leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary team including developers and freelancers
- Managing client projects built on Zeitgeist, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Driving the end-to-end delivery of new digital products focused on public participation
- Translating user and stakeholder needs into realistic priorities and sprint plans
- Applying agile product management practices and maintaining strong agile ways of working
- Contributing to product and project strategy and vision
- Leading user research and testing activities
- Serving as the team’s data protection and security lead
- Reporting progress, risks, budget, and priorities to clients, Directors, and internal stakeholders
- Quality-assuring outputs and managing sign-off processes
- Supporting business development, including proposal writing, networking, and pitching
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, funders, partners, and freelance associates
- Undertaking other tasks as required by the Director of the Centre for Collective Intelligence

Requirements

Experience
- Hands-on agile product management experience, including planning, prioritising, and delivering against a product roadmap
- Proven track record of end-to-end digital product ownership, balancing user, technical, and commercial priorities
- Experience leading digital products through scaling and sustained impact, with a focus on de-risking growth
- Skilled in iterative development and testing using lean-agile principles and live data
- Strong user focus, supporting multidisciplinary teams to develop impactful digital products and services
- Good understanding of data protection and security standards, including incident reporting and risk mitigation
- Experience managing digital project delivery from prototyping through to rollout, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion
- Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams, including developers and freelancers, with effective agile team management
- Confident stakeholder and client management, balancing commercial demands with product strategy
- Experience or strong interest in business development and securing philanthropic or grant funding
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a start-up mentality, managing multiple priorities proactively

- Experience developing digital products and services for social impact or mission-driven outcomes
