About the Role
dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, partnering with the world's most ambitious retailers and brands to put the customer at the heart of every decision. We combine deep insight, advanced technology, and close collaboration to help our clients grow, innovate, and deliver measurable value for their customers. Our clients include transformative, iconic brands such as Tesco, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Unilever, and Metro.
The dunnhumby Network Alliance (dna) is an open, collaborative Retail and Commerce Media service designed to unify a fragmented market and unlock growth for brands, agencies, and retailers. Operating as a neutral layer across multiple retail partners, dna brings together audiences, inventory, and intelligence, enabling a single, simplified point of entry to cross-retailer media at scale. Built in partnership with Kevel and powered by dunnhumby's data and expertise, dna connects brand and performance across the full customer journey, delivering more transparent, consistent, and effective outcomes in an increasingly complex media landscape.
In this role, you will build in the field by embedding with brands, agencies, and retail partners to ship working software against their real data and workflows. You will take dna from prototype to production and find product-market fit at pace. You will own your work end-to-end, from scoping problems to deployment and ongoing support, turning field learning into product direction and leveraging AI-assisted engineering tooling to raise output and quality.
Key responsibilities include embedding with retailers, brands, and agencies to understand and solve real problems, rapidly prototyping and shipping production-ready code, building and integrating core platform components such as APIs, services, data pipelines, and user-facing workflows across dunnhumby, Kevel, and retailer environments. You will also be accountable for release, deployment, monitoring, and issue resolution, while helping shape team processes as the team grows.
dunnhumby offers a comprehensive rewards package, flexible working hours, your birthday off, and investment in cutting-edge technology. We foster an inclusive culture with thriving networks supporting gender equality, LGBTQ+ pride, family, disability, and wellbeing. We are committed to providing a recruitment process that enables everyone to perform at their best.
