About the Role
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, founded in 2013 by world-renowned makeup artist and entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury CBE, is a global beauty phenomenon operating across 50+ markets with over 3,000 team members. The App Squad owns the Charlotte Tilbury mobile app experience across iOS and Android, aiming to make the app the highest-value digital channel for routine, loyalty, and exclusive demand. As Product Manager - App on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, you will lead product direction and day-to-day leadership for the app, translating company and digital priorities into a measurable roadmap aligned to squad OKRs. You will balance customer value, commercial impact, experience quality, and delivery feasibility with accountability for outcomes rather than just shipping features. Working closely with Digital Product Design, Engineering, Delivery Managers, and cross-functional teams including Data, CRM, Loyalty, Trading, Marketing, Creative, and Customer Care, you will deliver coherent app experiences and make informed trade-offs. You will provide continuity for the squad and support a smooth transition at contract end.
The role covers the full product lifecycle from strategy and discovery through delivery, launch, and learning. Responsibilities include owning and communicating the product strategy, framing and prioritising opportunities with clear value hypotheses, leading evidence-based discovery, collaborating on delivery plans, balancing strategic bets with platform health, defining success measures and instrumentation, driving launch readiness, closing the loop post-launch, creating clear product narratives for stakeholders, and maintaining thorough documentation for handover.
Experience
- Proven Product Management experience delivering and improving consumer-facing digital products, with meaningful ownership of a native mobile app across iOS and Android.
- Strong outcome-led product practice and commercial judgement: setting OKRs, defining KPI stacks, framing value, prioritising opportunities, and linking product metrics to revenue, retention, or customer value.
- Experience using product analytics, customer insight, and experimentation to make decisions, define success criteria, and evaluate impact after launch.
- Track record of working with Product Design, Engineering, and Delivery Managers in a cross-functional squad, shaping early and navigating scope, quality, technical, dependency, and delivery trade-offs.
- Strong understanding of mobile product delivery including release planning, app-store considerations, instrumentation, performance, stability, accessibility, and privacy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, able to turn complexity into clear narratives, clarify ownership, and influence across disciplines and seniority levels.
About you
- Sound judgement in ambiguity, customer obsession, and a high bar for coherent, intuitive, and inclusive mobile experiences.
- Highly organised and dependable, with the ability to retain context, provide continuity, and manage a smooth maternity-cover handover.
- Collaborative leadership style with strong mobile product craft and commercial judgement.
- Passionate about innovation, agility, and excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
