About the Role
Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) is a proudly independent branding business founded in 1990, now with over 300 people across the UK and USA. Our Film, Motion & CGI (FMC) team creates best-in-class motion design for some of the world's biggest brands. The work is bold, fast, and creatively ambitious, driven by precision and operational excellence.
As a Program Manager focused on Motion, you will build and maintain the operational framework that allows creativity to thrive. You will ensure the right people are on the right projects at the right time, scope work properly before it starts, and manage capacity proactively to avoid firefighting. Working closely with Client Services, you will align client expectations, timelines, and budgets from brief to delivery.
You will collaborate with other Program Managers and creative leaders across the studio to make resourcing decisions with full visibility of studio-wide activity. Reporting to the Ops Director, you will manage a wide range of Motion projects, from single deliverables to complex multi-workstream briefs, maintaining project documentation, financial reporting, and resourcing plans.
Your responsibilities include partnering with Client Services as a co-owner of client relationships, owning resourcing across all Motion projects, building accurate time quotes, managing the Motion freelance roster, and supporting forward planning and forecasting. You will also identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in partnership with the Ops Director, while staying close to industry trends and sharing knowledge internally.
This role is key to bringing order to complexity so the team can focus on making exceptional work.
