About the Role
Join Springer Nature's Data Competence Centre as a Programme Manager within the Data Platform programme, driving sustained change in how the organisation understands, manages, and utilises its data. This transformation programme aims to build foundational data and technical capabilities that add value to cross-organisation initiatives and data-driven transformation. Reporting to the Director of Data Transformation Programmes, you will work in a collaborative, flexible environment offering the option to work from home three days a week. Your role will involve maintaining strategy roadmaps, running steering sessions, defining and managing OKRs at project and programme levels, raising and mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment. You will also provide line management and mentoring to project managers and business analysts, improve internal processes including hiring and onboarding, and work effectively with third parties to deliver programme objectives.

Experience
- Proven track record of planning, delivering, and monitoring successful programmes as a Programme Manager, Delivery Lead, or significant contributor as a Project Manager or equivalent.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience driving delivery in agile and hybrid environments.
- Broad understanding of agile methodologies or frameworks.
- Experience mentoring agile Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Scrum Masters, or equivalents.
- Problem-solving skills.
