About the Role
The National Gallery has an exciting opportunity for a Building Project Manager to join the Building and Facilities Department, working within the Building Fabric Projects and Maintenance team and reporting to the Building Manager. You will lead the delivery of day-to-day maintenance and refurbishment projects that support the repair and presentation of the Gallery’s Grade I listed estate. This role involves coordinating works across departments, managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day operations. You will liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, condition reports, and specialist documentation to uphold the safety and integrity of the building, staff, visitors, and the collection. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the care and conservation of a prestigious cultural institution.
Experience
Proven experience in managing building maintenance and refurbishment projects, preferably within heritage or listed buildings. Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and contractors effectively.

Qualifications
