About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to influence high-profile decisions, contribute to the evolution of digital wealth propositions, and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers. As a Proposition Strategy Associate in the Proposition Strategy team, you will help shape customer-led proposition decisions by translating insights, evidence, and stakeholder input into clear recommendations. You will work closely with partners across Research, Analytics, Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to support proposition strategy and prioritisation.

Key responsibilities include framing complex proposition challenges into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and decision options; translating customer research and experience insights into actionable recommendations; building and maintaining evidence repositories that capture insights, assumptions, confidence levels, and outstanding questions; supporting prioritisation and planning activities with structured, customer-focused inputs; partnering with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Product teams to assess feasibility of proposition opportunities; coordinating inputs from subject matter experts and aligning stakeholders around key assumptions and recommendations; developing executive-ready presentations, business cases, and decision materials; monitoring competitor activity, market developments, and emerging trends relevant to proposition strategy; assessing external developments and identifying implications for customers and proposition direction; synthesising qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear narratives and recommendations; and contributing to a customer-centric culture by ensuring customer value remains central to decision-making.

Experience
- Experience in proposition strategy, customer insights, product strategy, consulting, or a related discipline within financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to use customer research, behavioural insights, or customer data to inform business decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges.
- Ability to synthesise complex information into clear and compelling recommendations.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to create executive-level presentations.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and disciplines.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to operate effectively in a regulated environment while balancing customer, commercial, and risk considerations.

Qualifications
- Preferred experience in wealth management, investing, savings, or broader financial services propositions.
- Familiarity with customer experience, design thinking, or proposition-development methodologies.
- Experience working with research, analytics, or customer experience teams.
- Knowledge of competitor analysis, market intelligence, or strategic planning.
- Experience using business intelligence tools for analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with SQL or similar data-querying tools.
- Experience preparing strategy materials for executive-level audiences.
