About the Role
Second Nature is seeking a dynamic Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join their growing psychology team within the Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS). You will support people living with obesity to make sustainable lifestyle and behaviour changes as part of a multidisciplinary team including doctors, dietitians, psychologists, and physical activity specialists. The role requires flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays as needed to meet NHS contract requirements. You will receive comprehensive training, clinical supervision, and support from a Practitioner Psychologist. Key responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, delivering psychological therapy, facilitating group sessions, attending MDT meetings, managing clinical risk, and maintaining professional development and confidentiality in line with best practice and data protection standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative health-tech company dedicated to improving access to effective obesity treatment and positively impacting patient outcomes.
