Starting from £57,094 per annum (London weighted salary) or £49,502 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience
About the Role
Join the Quality Assurance Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q), one of the UK’s largest housing associations providing social and affordable homes to around 250,000 people across Greater London and Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Business Applications team undergoing transformation with a new Target Operating Model. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will ensure software products and solutions are thoroughly tested, fit for purpose, and meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
You will act as the Testing & Quality Assurance lead within your squad or project team, developing test strategies and plans covering functional, integration, and user acceptance testing. You will be responsible for creating and executing tests, monitoring progress, managing errors and fixes, and providing timely reporting to enable prioritisation of work. Working closely with scrum/agile teams and engineers, you will help evolve modern software development and deployment methodologies including scripting and automated testing.
This role reports to a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst and works within a small team of QA Analysts. Early applications are encouraged as the recruitment process may close earlier than the stated date.

Experience
- ISTQB Software Testing certification
- Good understanding and experience with structured test methods and processes
- Experience with test and defect management using Azure DevOps
- Knowledge and experience of best practices in manual and automated testing
- Experience testing various application types including web, data, and mobile applications
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory
- Medium to strong SQL skills (understanding and writing)
- Knowledge of data models and dimensional models
- Experience with data testing, ETL, and testing large volumes of data
- Experience working within cross-functional delivery squads or scrum teams alongside Product Owners and Scrum Masters

Qualifications
ISTQB Software Testing certification is required. Additional skills in Power BI and data visualisation are desirable.
