About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer to join our Employment and Skills team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of assessment and verification practices across our provision. You will work closely with assessors, trainers, and employers to ensure that all assessment processes meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure all documentation and records meet quality assurance and regulatory requirements
Plan and carry out internal quality assurance and monitoring activities
Evaluate assessment processes to ensure they are robust, fair, valid, and reliable
Monitor and support assessors to ensure they meet role requirements
Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to assessors
Standardise assessment decisions to ensure consistency across provision
Work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders to improve assessment outcomes
Ensure assessment decisions are based on defined criteria and best practice

Experience
Proven background in assessment and quality assurance, with experience working in education or skills development environments preferred.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in quality assurance, assessment, or a related field are desirable. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in assessment is essential.
