About the Role
Are you interested in shaping the future of the Alexa experience for customers around the world? Alexa Global Quality is seeking experienced, customer-obsessed Quality Assurance Engineers fluent in one or more European languages, preferably French or German. In this role, you will drive quality across Alexa's multilingual experience in over 100 countries. You will own the everyday product quality for your workstream, collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver the highest quality product against defined milestones. Your responsibilities include monitoring production trends to improve customer experience, evaluating device and Alexa functionality, and creating test strategies tailored to your customers. You will develop automation and quality tooling to improve test efficiency globally, raise and triage defects, and communicate with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to report program status, gather requirements, and develop processes or tools to support the organization.

A day in the life involves maintaining and pushing the high bar for quality in Alexa products and services. You will work on the latest innovations in Alexa devices and features, deeply understanding the complex technology behind delightful customer experiences worldwide. You will design and execute test strategies that prevent defects and poor customer experiences, advocating on behalf of customers regardless of their language or location.

About the team: We tackle the unique challenge of internationalizing Alexa features and devices. We understand the linguistic, cultural, and technical nuances that enable Alexa to delight customers authentically across different cultures, languages, and locations.

Experience
- Quality assurance engineering experience
- Developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
- Serving as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements
- Troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Scripting or coding experience
- Automation testing experience
- Manual testing experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated test frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
- Experience gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

About You
Fluency in one or more European languages, preferably French or German (speaking, reading, and writing). Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high-quality products. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Innovative mindset with the ability to design and deliver quality campaigns for a global customer base.
