About the Role
Are you a Senior Care Assistant looking to elevate your career and take on a regional role supporting Care Teams to deliver a great quality of life to the people living with us? We have an exciting vacancy for a dynamic Quality Care Specialist to join the Regional team at Maria Mallaband Care Group (MMCG). This regional role involves supporting specific services across a designated area in the UK, so a UK Driving Licence is essential. Due to the nature of the role, occasional overnight stays may be required.
The main function of this role is to be deployed into services requiring care support to achieve quality-focused outcomes. This includes coaching staff on best care practices, writing and evaluating person-centred care plans, and supporting the management of individual care needs. You will work hands-on, guiding, coaching, and training staff to improve care delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience
- Senior Care Assistant/Level 3 qualified
- Experience working in a Care Home setting is essential
- Experience supporting and developing care teams
- Experience conducting checks on care plan completion and staff observation, using the principle of showing, watching, and providing feedback
- Sound knowledge of regulatory standards, statutory requirements, and improvement methods in care homes
About you
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to coach and train staff on the floor
- Strong organisational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing links with healthcare professionals and external organisations
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and organisation
- UK Driving Licence essential due to regional travel and occasional overnight stays
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in care or equivalent senior care experience required
