About the Role
Join University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Radiotherapy Receptionist and Planning Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in supporting the radiotherapy department and wider outpatient services. Your responsibilities will include accurate patient registration and data management using EPIC and ARIA systems, ensuring patient details are verified and kept up to date. You will manage case notes and departmental information securely through the Carecast system, maintaining organised filing and safe disposal of confidential data in line with Trust policies. You will coordinate patient transport bookings, interpreter services, and accommodation arrangements, liaising effectively with patients and relevant teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Within the radiotherapy department, you will record attendances and outcomes to support accurate reporting and income generation, provide clerking support for outpatient clinics, and deliver reception assistance for adhoc clinics. Additionally, you will book outpatient appointments both within and outside the radiotherapy department, ensuring all patient needs such as transport and interpreter requirements are met. Experience
Experience in patient registration, appointment coordination, or administrative roles within a healthcare setting is desirable. Familiarity with EPIC, ARIA, and Carecast systems is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You have excellent communication skills to liaise with patients, transport teams, interpreters, and clinical staff. You demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information. Flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting clinical services are essential.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but a background in healthcare administration or customer service is beneficial. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
