About the Role
Join our Passive Fire Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) on a fixed term basis as a Reactive Planner. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for inspecting Front Entry doors annually to ensure compliance with current fire safety requirements and maintain clear, effective processes.

As the planner, you will allocate work to the team and coordinate bookings with residents on site. Your role is vital in arranging follow-on works to ensure efficient service delivery, logging data and notes on the computer system for smooth handover and communication, and passing relevant information to all stakeholders.

You will prioritise and schedule emergency jobs, monitor emails, adhere to service level agreements (SLAs), and escalate any issues to the supervisor or Passive Works Manager. You will coordinate the planning and scheduling of Passive Technicians across the L&Q estate, managing diaries and timetables to ensure timely completion of fire safety works.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to delivering a high-impact service to residents and reducing overdue actions. You will report to the Passive Works Supervisor and work closely with the Passive Fire Safety Team.

Benefits include an excellent pension plan (up to 6% double contribution), 28 days annual leave rising to 31 days with length of service plus bank holidays, Westfield Health Cash Plan, non-contributory life assurance, up to 21 hours paid volunteering days, lifestyle benefits, Employee Assistance Programme, and more.
