Purpose of the job/about the role This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Fundraising Team at Dementia UK, where you will help deliver our community strategy developing new opportunities and relationships with local groups and organisations. As an experienced and dedicated Regional Fundraiser you will deliver excellent stewardship support, proactively managing and motivating volunteers to undertake fundraising and awareness activities, ensuring a sustainable, long-term revenue stream for Dementia UK. Collaborating closely with both the Regional Fundraising team and the broader Community and Events team, you will champion our products engaging supports in challenge events, and campaigns across the region. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, nurturing supporter relationships and creating stewardship journeys aimed at increasing the average gift and lifetime support across London and Southeast. To be successful in the role, you will have a background in community fundraising or experience of working in relationship management or new business in a similar setting. You will have understanding of community fundraising across both relationship management and new business development with proven success of building and sustaining stakeholder relationships. Additionally, previous experience in planning and delivering projects as well as with a history of delivering impactful presentations, will be beneficial.
