About the Role
Join Maria Mallaband Care Group as a Registered Nurse and be empowered to deliver exceptional care every day. In this role, you will advocate for residents by planning daily activities, creating tailored care plans, and ensuring individual needs and choices are met. You will champion dignity and safety, act as a role model to colleagues, and provide meaningful support to those living with dementia and complex care needs. Key responsibilities include medication administration, care planning, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support, safeguarding, shift leadership as Nurse in charge, team management, infection prevention and control, liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams, and upholding clinical governance standards.

About the Location
Heritage Care Centre is a modern, purpose-built nursing home with ensuite rooms, high-standard décor, WiFi throughout, and a welcoming atmosphere. Residents enjoy a variety of activities organised daily, including one-to-one care and outings, with a bar and café on site for residents and their families.

Experience
Nursing home experience is essential. Experience with PCS system, medication management, syringe driver, catheterisation, bloods, PEG feeding, and stoma care is highly desirable.

About you
You demonstrate compassion, dedication, and commitment to enhancing quality of life. Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills are required. You have excellent understanding of dementia, complex care, the Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty safeguards. You communicate effectively, pay close attention to detail, and are motivated to develop your clinical skills continuously. Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility is essential.

Qualifications
A Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC is required. You must hold a valid UK NMC PIN and be registered to practice as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN). The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks to ensure safe recruitment.
