About the Role
This role is available for qualified nurses only with nursing home experience. As a Registered Nurse at Maria Mallaband Care Group, you will be empowered to deliver exceptional care and make a meaningful difference every day. You will advocate for residents by planning daily activities, creating tailored care plans, and ensuring individualised needs and choices are met. Your leadership will promote dignity and safety, while serving as a role model to colleagues and providing purpose to those living with us.

Key responsibilities include medication administration and care planning, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support, maintaining safeguarding principles, acting as Nurse in charge during shifts, team management and shift planning, infection prevention and control, liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams, and upholding clinical governance standards.

Experience
Must have nursing home experience. Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills are essential. Experience with syringe driver, catheterisation, bloods, PEG feeding, and stoma care is highly desirable.

Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards is required.

Qualifications
A nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC.
A valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks to ensure safe recruitment.
