About the Role
This role is available for qualified nurses only. Join Maria Mallaband Care Group as a Registered Nurse and be empowered to deliver exceptional care every day. You will play a vital role in advocating for residents by planning daily activities, creating tailored care plans, and ensuring individualised needs and choices are met. Your leadership and clinical skills will help champion dignity and safety, serve as a role model to colleagues, and provide meaningful support to residents living with dementia and complex care needs.

Key responsibilities include medication administration and care planning, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support, maintaining safeguarding principles, acting as Nurse in charge during shifts, team management and shift planning, infection prevention and control, liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams, and upholding clinical governance standards.

Knights Court offers specialist residential care with additional dementia provision. The home features ensuite rooms with modern decor and multiple communal areas designed to suit residents’ preferences. A broad activity programme encourages residents to stay active and engaged.

Experience
Nursing home experience is essential. Experience with dementia and complex care is highly valued. Syringe driver experience, catheterisation, blood sampling, PEG feeding, and stoma care skills are desirable.

You demonstrate compassion, dedication, and commitment to enhancing quality of life. Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills are required. You communicate effectively, pay close attention to detail, and are eager to learn and develop your clinical skills. Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility is essential.

Qualifications
A nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC. A valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) is required. A good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards is essential. The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
