About the Role
As a Repairs Administration Officer within the Housing and Commercial Partnership Directorate at Westminster City Council, you will play a key role supporting the Repairs Complaints Team. Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day administrative support to the Complaints Manager and Complaints Officers to ensure timely and professional responses to residents. You will maintain the team’s dashboard, inbox, and active worksheets, gathering detailed and accurate information from local surveyors and helping to keep processes on track within target deadlines. Early identification and escalation of potential delays or issues will be essential.
You will organise meetings by booking rooms, preparing agendas, sharing papers, and arranging hospitality as needed. Attending team meetings, taking notes, and following up on actions will ensure clear communication and coordinated efforts.
Maintaining accurate records in line with information security policies and using appropriate platforms will be a key part of your role. Your organisation, responsiveness, and focus on quality will contribute significantly to delivering an improved service for residents.
Experience
Experience supporting officers in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and deadlines are important. Comfortable managing inboxes, coordinating tasks, and maintaining momentum while paying close attention to detail.

A sensitive and diplomatic approach to handling conversations professionally, especially in sensitive situations. Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to keep people informed and influence or engage others when necessary. Proficient IT skills across Microsoft products, excellent organisation and time management abilities. Able to remain calm under pressure, work collaboratively across teams, and support equality and diversity in daily work.
