About the Role
Tower Hamlets is one of the capital’s most diverse boroughs, home to iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London and Canary Wharf. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic candidate to support our ambitious Parking and Mobility Service. The successful officer will work on both informal challenges and formal representations, ensuring that Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) enquiries and representations are responded to within statutory timeframes and in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures. You will also respond to appeals from London Tribunals regarding representations rejected by the Council or Orders from the County Court referred to the Adjudication Service. Previous experience in the Parking industry, dealing with related correspondence and complaints, is essential.
The role requires investigating and responding appropriately to penalty charge notice representations, appeals, and enquiries in line with legislation and council policies. Excellent IT and administration skills are necessary, as you will manage your own caseload while supporting other team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to first-class customer service are paramount.

Experience
Previous experience in the Parking industry and dealing with Parking related correspondence and/or complaints is essential. Candidates should have A levels or NVQ Level 3 Notice Processors (Parking) qualification/relevant degree, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
