About the Role
Tower Hamlets is one of the capital’s most diverse boroughs, home to iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London and Canary Wharf. With a rapidly growing population and a vibrant community, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic candidate to support our ambitious Parking and Mobility Service. As a Representations & Appeals Officer, you will work on both informal challenges and formal representations, ensuring that Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) enquiries and representations are responded to within statutory timeframes and in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures. You will also handle appeals from London Tribunals related to rejected representations or County Court Orders referred to the Adjudication Service. Your role will involve investigating and responding to penalty charge notice representations, appeals, and enquiries while managing your own caseload and supporting team members as needed. Attention to detail and a commitment to first-class customer service are essential.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in the Parking industry and dealing with parking-related correspondence and/or complaints is essential. Candidates should possess A levels or NVQ Level 3 Notice Processors (Parking) qualification/relevant degree, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.

About you
The successful candidate will have excellent IT and administration skills, with the ability to manage their own caseload effectively. A genuine commitment to providing first-class customer service is crucial.
