About the Role
Turn data into insight and help organisations make better global decisions. At ECA International, trusted data is at the heart of everything we do. Our products, technology and insights help multinational organisations understand the true cost of international mobility, benchmark compensation, support expatriates and make confident workforce decisions around the world. As part of the Product Analytics team, you will join a group of curious, analytical thinkers who transform complex global information into trusted insight. This role goes beyond traditional research, combining research, data analysis and emerging AI-powered techniques to build and maintain one of the world’s leading global mobility data sets. You will support products relied upon by organisations and international assignees across more than 500 cities worldwide.
Your responsibilities will include conducting primary and secondary research across a wide range of global mobility topics, collecting, validating and organising information from surveys, databases, reports, AI tools and other trusted sources. You will analyse data to identify trends, patterns and meaningful commercial insights, support the creation of reports, presentations and recommendations for internal teams and clients, research market trends, competitor activity and emerging developments within global mobility, explore AI-supported and agentic research methods to improve research speed, quality and accuracy, and work collaboratively across Product Analytics and the wider business to continuously improve research processes and data quality. Every project is different, providing opportunities to expand your analytical skills while developing a strong understanding of international markets and global mobility.
Experience
We welcome candidates who have recently graduated, completed an apprenticeship or have some experience in research or analytics. Experience or exposure to SQL, Python, data analysis or statistical techniques, generative AI or agentic AI research tools, data platforms such as PostgreSQL or Snowflake, and research, economics, business intelligence or market analysis through university, work experience or personal projects would be advantageous.
About you
You have an analytical mindset and enjoy solving problems, asking questions and uncovering insights from data. You demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence working with Excel and an interest in data analysis. You are curious about how AI can improve research and analytical workflows, proactive in your approach to learning and continuous improvement, able to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively within a team, and have an interest in global business, economics or international affairs.
Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements; however, relevant education or training in research, analytics, economics, business intelligence or related fields is beneficial. A willingness to learn and develop within an international data-driven business is essential.
