Description
As a primary point of contact for residents, project stakeholders, and the construction team, as a Resident Officer you will engage with customers through newsletters, meetings, visits, and open days, ensuring they are aware of the works processes and communicating updates or changes accordingly. You will coordinate the handover of keys to site teams and provide a high standard of customer aftercare, managing expectations between residents, the client, and our operations teams. Your role will involve fostering positive relationships with residents, addressing their concerns, and ensuring that their needs are met throughout the duration of the retrofit project.
Requirements
Essential Requirements: Own transport and drivers license Customer Service Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with residents from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communicator who can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. Empathetic, patient, and a customer-centric approach to resident relations. Resilience under pressure Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in social housing or community development projects. Experience working for a Contractor or in a client-side resident liaison/community engagement role, preferably within planned/reactive maintenance or asset management. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing social housing and community engagement.
