About the Role
As a Resident Voice & Engagement Facilitator at Hexagon Housing Association, you will play a vital role in embedding a diverse and inclusive approach to resident engagement across the Operations Directorate. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that resident voices are heard and to deliver excellent insights for service improvement. You will work collaboratively with internal teams to reflect the commitments of our Resident Voice and Engagement Strategy, promoting the residents' voice to influence operational decision-making and service delivery. You will also maintain awareness of innovation, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting resident engagement.

Principal Accountabilities
Building Relationships
1. Build trust and foster positive relationships between residents and Hexagon.
2. Facilitate resident engagement in decision-making and implement strategies to improve services.
Engagement
3. Plan and implement innovative engagement opportunities in collaboration with residents and local communities.
4. Create accessible and inclusive engagement opportunities and events.
5. Lead specific engagement activities and projects as directed.
6. Organise focus groups, the Repairs Group, and other residents’ meetings.
7. Develop new approaches to ensure we hear from 'silent voices'.
Collaboration
8. Support customer-facing colleagues in developing resident engagement activities.
9. Capture and report resident feedback for service improvement.
10. Co-produce resident events on estates or in the neighbourhood.
11. Represent Hexagon externally on resident involvement issues.
Communication
12. Promote resident engagement activities through various communication channels.
Recruitment, Training and Support
13. Recruit and induct residents interested in volunteering.
14. Provide support for volunteers to ensure a positive experience.

Other Duties
15. Carry out duties in accordance with Hexagon’s Equality & Diversity Policy.
16. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
17. Provide cover and other duties for the Resident Engagement Team as needed.
18. Manage own administration, including correspondence and record keeping.
19. Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Experience
Experience in resident engagement or community work is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but relevant experience or training in community engagement or social work would be advantageous.
