About the Role
The Amazon Business B2B Payment and Lending team is seeking a Risk Compliance Manager to build and scale quality control programs for underwriting decisions of the Pay-By-Invoice product across multiple marketplaces. This role ensures that as we expand our payment solutions globally, we maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and risk management. You will have the opportunity to design quality frameworks from the ground up, influence product and process decisions, and directly impact the trust our business customers place in Amazon.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and scaling quality programs by designing, implementing, and continuously improving quality control initiatives across geographies and payment solutions, establishing metrics, monitoring mechanisms, and feedback loops.
- Driving risk mitigation strategies by developing comprehensive risk control frameworks using SOP quality standards, identifying nonconformities, managing remediation workstreams, and implementing preventive measures.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with credit teams, product managers, and engineering to validate credit decisions, surface insights, and drive data-informed improvements while building strong relationships across the organization.
- Conducting hands-on quality analysis by performing quality audits, documenting findings precisely, and developing actionable insights along with compelling performance reports and dashboards.
- Managing day-to-day risk review assignments, tracking remediation progress, ensuring data quality through systematic audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
- 5+ years of program management experience building scalable quality control programs
- Experience with credit risk concepts such as underwriting, lending lifecycle, and risk assessment or willingness to learn quickly
- Experience delivering test frameworks, test tools, and leading QA projects and initiatives
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience with QA automation or building tools to monitor risk and controls
- Familiarity with commercial credit, lending operations, or B2B payments

Qualifications
