Completing timesheets, vehicle log sheets, and logbooks will be part of your duties, along with assisting in monitoring daily transport performance and reporting findings to the lead driver.

Maintaining the cleanliness, security, and routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment during shifts is essential, as is reporting and addressing any necessary repairs to guarantee vehicle fitness for use. You will operate all in-car communications and patient management system equipment to support accurate record keeping.

Supporting the induction and guidance of new employees to familiarize them with business operations and the geographical area is expected. You will plan the most efficient routes for and between home visits and assist with basic administrative duties, including using Microsoft Outlook to read and respond to emails.

Participation in license checks, driver assessments, and mandatory driver training is required. You will foster positive communication among drivers, GPs, UTC colleagues, and external partners, actively engaging in team and departmental meetings.

Additional support duties include chaperoning GPs when needed, assisting GPs and the admin team as required, directing calls to appropriate extensions, dealing with telephone enquiries, and recording messages. Professional attire suitable for a business environment is appreciated.
