About the Role
Beano Brain, a leading kid, youth and family insights agency and part of DC Thomson media and publishing, is seeking a Sales Support Assistant to join their collaborative and dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to develop sales skills under the guidance of an experienced Commercial Director within a growing business. The Sales Support Assistant will play a key role in improving commercial discipline, data quality, and campaign effectiveness to ensure the sales team focuses on high-value opportunities and measurable outcomes. Responsibilities include generating high-quality prospects, maintaining accurate CRM data, and delivering targeted outreach and events that connect Beano Brain insights with priority clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Pipeline prospecting and qualification to deliver a consistent flow of prioritised, high-quality prospects aligned to target sectors.
- Executing personalised, insight-led outreach campaigns to increase engagement and generate qualified leads.
- Maintaining complete, accurate, and timely CRM records to support pipeline visibility and reporting.
- Planning and supporting events and trade shows to expand reach and strengthen client relationships.
- Leveraging CRM tools, automation, and AI-assisted research to improve targeting, scale activity, and enhance conversion.
- Supporting ad-hoc improvements to commercial processes and collateral as needed.
Experience
- Data analytics skills to extract insights from CRM and campaign data and produce clear reports.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
- Digital marketing experience to execute targeted outreach campaigns with segmentation and personalisation.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) for data management, activity tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to create clear, concise, and tailored outreach content aligned with audience needs.
- Awareness of emerging technologies including AI and automation tools to improve research and campaign efficiency.
Desirable
- Experience reporting on HubSpot CRM.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Apollo, Claude, or Copilot.
- Background or exposure to insights or business services.
- Interest or experience in kid-oriented industries.
