As a Salesforce Engineer at JPM Personal Investing, you will help shape platforms for our Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations teams. You will develop standalone products on Salesforce and integrate with JPM Personal Investing services to build the best customer experience for customers and colleagues. Our Salesforce team is at the heart of this venture, focused on delivering smart ideas to our customers. Key responsibilities include developing services such as referrals and promo systems, automation and alerts, email services, custom Lightning and Visualforce pages, and products across core Salesforce systems including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. You will also work with out-of-the-box external applications such as Salesforce Scheduler, Milestones, Forecasting, Amazon Connect, Backup solutions, and others.
You will leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards. You will contribute learnings and reusable patterns to improve team effectiveness and apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to maximize automation value.

Experience
- Certified Salesforce Developer (at least Platform Developer 1)
- Experience with Force.com platform (Async Apex)
- Service Cloud and Sales Cloud development experience
- Proficient in SOQL/SOSL/DML operations and SOQL query optimizations
- REST integrations with external services
- Experience with testing methodologies, frameworks, and integration testing
- Agile team experience (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with migration tools
- Experience with Lightning Web Components
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, and security expectations

You are able to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security, and can guide peers on safe and effective AI tool usage within team practices.

Qualifications
- Multiple Salesforce certifications (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with integrations such as backend APIs and Amazon Connect (preferred)
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle)
- Full-stack Salesforce development experience
- Good understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing
- Marketing Cloud experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in different integration patterns
