Up to £30,970.00 per annum FTE (based on Level 6 qualification)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Careers Adviser to join our team on a part-time, term-time basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students, supporting their career aspirations and future pathways. You will work closely with the Careers Lead to achieve and maintain the Gatsby Benchmarks and ensure CEIAG Google Classrooms are regularly updated with current Labour Market Information (LMI) and relevant resources. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' futures within a supportive school environment. Key responsibilities include delivering one-to-one and group careers advice, arranging career talks and activities, engaging with young people including those with SEND and disadvantaged backgrounds, and undertaking administration duties to ensure compliance with contract and quality standards. You will work flexibly and independently while being supported by the wider team.
Experience
- Experience of working with young people, preferably in a school or college setting
- Experience of working with vulnerable groups and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

- Ability to engage with and inspire young people, including those with SEND and disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as their parents/carers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional commitment to children's rights, equal opportunities, and diversity
- Ability to work flexibly and independently while contributing to a team environment
Qualifications
- Level 6 qualification in careers guidance (CIAG)
- Thorough knowledge of education, employment, training, and personal development opportunities available for young people, including up-to-date labour market information
