Reporting to the Head of Benelux & Nordics, the Senior Account Manager will play a leading role in growing the firm’s relationships with large allocators across institutional and wealth management firms in the Nordic region. This role involves maintaining existing client relationships and expanding PIMCO’s asset base across the region. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and the Head of Benelux & Nordics to drive growth across PIMCO’s full suite of products, including fixed income, private markets, hedge funds and real estate.
Key responsibilities include building and deepening strategic client relationships as a trusted advisor, promoting PIMCO’s full range of products through presentations and meetings, partnering with marketing, sales support, PSG and portfolio managers to ensure consistent market coverage, maintaining client records, and delivering an outstanding client experience aligned with the Company’s Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) policy.
Experience
Minimum 7 years of work experience in asset management with client coverage in the Nordics region.
Deep knowledge of the Nordic market with an existing network of clients.
Strong knowledge of investments and financial markets, especially in fixed income and alternatives.
About you
Fluency in one or more Nordic languages is required.
Ability to articulate ideas and strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships.
Strong work ethic, enjoys working at pace, self-motivated, comfortable with high autonomy, accountable for actions and able to operate effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
CFA or MBA qualification is desirable.
IMC or undergraduate degree is the minimum requirement.
