Salary
The total cash range for this position in Prague is Kč772,500.00 to Kč1,081,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to Kč1,236,000.00 based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance. Starting pay will vary based on location, budget, and individual knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

The Expedia Group Business Workforce Solutions Team supports the lodging organization by forecasting workload for stakeholder teams and modeling staffing scenarios to ensure partner outreach success, efficient and effective account management growth, and healthy return on investment. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for modeling forecasting problems, discovering insights, and identifying opportunities through statistical, data mining, and visualization techniques.

You will collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to analyze forecast variances, understand and mitigate variance drivers, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards. This is a high impact and high visibility role with heavy interaction with senior leadership and goals that directly impact the bottom line of the business.

To succeed, you will need an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate with minimal guidance while owning end-to-end deliverables. You will manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establish priorities, and drive delivery of high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment with overlapping deadlines and short time constraints.

Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with account management teams to gain a profound knowledge of workstreams and performance metrics
- Develop and maintain demand, workload, and staffing forecast models based on historical data for short-term operational execution and long-term budget planning
- Maintain historical data hygiene and proactively adjust forecast models to reflect changes in business processes and metrics
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, making recommendations to reduce workload and improve productivity for stakeholder teams
- Monitor and track the results of recommendations
- Research and identify potential staffing risks and develop plans to mitigate them
- Utilize system reporting tools to analyze current business processes and support continuous improvements
- Identify opportunities for improvement through data analysis, setting targets, understanding drivers, assessing performance, and modeling scenarios
- Present results in a structured, data-driven manner, simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences
- Use a problem-solving approach to address underlying business questions using diverse data sources

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in advanced SQL and analytical tools such as Excel, Salesforce, and Tableau. Experience with statistical modeling languages or toolboxes such as R, SAS, SPSS, Matlab, or Python is a plus.
