About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Financial Accounting role is responsible for supporting the financial control and reporting of the Group and its subsidiaries. You will have responsibility for specific subsidiaries and assist other team members with their work. This is an excellent opportunity for a quick learner who is willing to challenge existing processes. The role is based in the London Financial Accounting team, which maintains accurate accounting books and records for the group’s UK-based subsidiaries and selected overseas entities. The team also handles legal entity board and statutory reporting, as well as month-end reporting to the group reporting team.
Key responsibilities include reviewing monthly management accounts for all entities within your area, ensuring the general ledger is accurate and complete, and that all analytical reviews and balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed with review points addressed. You will prepare and support the preparation of local GAAP statutory accounts and tax returns, prepare board reporting for legal entities as required, and liaise with auditors and tax advisors to support tax filings.
Additional duties include ownership of centralised processes such as fixed assets or intercompany invoicing and reconciliation, ongoing liaison with other Finance teams including US and Swiss Financial Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Group Reporting and Finance Business Partners to support timely and accurate information delivery, taking a proactive role in improving existing processes, and supporting other Financial Control and Reporting initiatives and projects as required.

Experience
Recent university graduate with finance-related work experience and exposure to month-end close procedures, or a part-qualified accountant.
About you
You should have strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills with the ability to confidently engage multiple stakeholders. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within the Financial Accounting team are essential. You should be a quick learner eager to challenge and improve existing processes.
Qualifications
Strong IT skills are required, particularly advanced Excel capabilities. Experience with general ledger systems is advantageous. No specific qualifications beyond relevant education and/or part qualification are explicitly required.
