About the Role
Aurora is the Lifestyle Operating System empowering the world’s highest-performing individuals. We reverse the trend of consumer technology optimized against the user by leveraging millions of data points to deliver the right recommendation at the right time. Our members include tier-1 founders, executives, and athletes who rely on Aurora daily to navigate travel, health, dining, experiences, and premium goods with expert judgment.
We are expanding our founding engineering team as we scale the product and member base. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work closely with the CTO and a world-class engineering team to design and build Aurora’s backend systems including APIs, background processing, agent orchestration, and data pipelines that support proactive, AI-driven behavior.
This is a hands-on role with high ownership, taking features from idea to production and ensuring system reliability as usage grows. You will report directly to the CTO and have the opportunity to grow into broader technical or leadership roles as the company scales. We ship high-polish, high-leverage products to a discerning customer base and operate with urgency and pragmatism.
Many of our early team members have ambitions to be founders, and we view Aurora as a high-performance startup academy where you will personally drive the evolution of a high-growth product from its earliest stages. Join us to make a meaningful impact.
