About the Role
This role sits within the Benefits team at World of Books, focusing on shaping the future of benefits and wellbeing across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) while influencing global wellbeing initiatives. You will create meaningful experiences for colleagues across multiple countries, ensuring benefits programs remain competitive, inclusive and aligned to the needs of a global workforce. From benefits strategy to wellbeing engagement, you will play a key role in attracting, retaining and supporting world-class talent.

In this role, you will own the strategy, delivery and continuous improvement of benefits and wellbeing programs impacting teams globally. You will influence leaders, shape employee experiences, drive meaningful change and create programs that help people succeed while supporting World of Books' continued growth and evolution.

Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and evolving benefits programs across EMEA to create a seamless employee experience balancing competitiveness, compliance, cost effectiveness and employee value
- Shaping benefits strategy through data-driven insights, using participation, utilization and cost trends to influence investment decisions and improve outcomes
- Acting as the trusted benefits and wellbeing expert for leaders and colleagues, simplifying complex programs and driving engagement
- Building strong partnerships with insurers, brokers, third-party administrators and internal stakeholders to deliver high-performing programs and exceptional service
- Ensuring compliance across multiple countries by aligning benefits programs with local regulations, business requirements and governance standards
- Leading the development and execution of a global wellbeing strategy supporting physical, mental, emotional, financial and social wellbeing
- Creating impactful wellbeing campaigns, communications and resources to increase awareness, participation and measurable effectiveness
- Continuously improving processes, systems and employee experiences by building scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy and long-term success

Requirements

Experience
- Significant experience managing benefits programs across multiple EMEA countries, with expertise in health, welfare, disability, retirement and wellbeing programs
- Proven success developing and implementing wellbeing strategies that drive engagement, participation and measurable outcomes
- Strong commercial and analytical skills including benefits finance, budget forecasting, cost analysis and data-driven decision making
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to turn data into compelling insights and recommendations
- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), ideally Workday, managing benefits-related data, reporting and system integrations

- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and build trusted relationships across all business levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different countries and time zones while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accountability
- Passionate about improving employee experience and driving meaningful change through benefits and wellbeing programs
