We are seeking a Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of complex collections and support debt reduction across a high-volume customer portfolio. This role goes beyond traditional credit control, involving process improvement, automation initiatives, reporting, and stakeholder management to drive efficiency while maintaining excellent customer outcomes.

This hands-on role involves managing complex debt escalations, supporting cash allocation, preparing key reports, and mentoring junior team members. You will work closely with Operations, Finance, Billing, Treasury, and external clients to ensure accurate reconciliation and strong commercial relationships.

Key responsibilities include managing overdue accounts, arranging payment plans, supporting collection activities, overseeing cash allocation, preparing management reports, championing automation and process improvements, supporting finance transformation projects, and contributing to team development and month-end activities.

Experience
- Previous Credit Control experience within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience managing complex collections, escalations, and customer accounts
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Good understanding of cash allocation, reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong Excel skills; ERP experience is advantageous
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
- Experience within a multi-site business is beneficial
- Exposure to finance transformation, automation, or continuous improvement initiatives is advantageous
