Joining our Customer Data Science team, you will work with world-class and passionate people to create reusable science modules, ensuring they are productionised, robust, and available to the business. You will contribute to the research and implementation of new approaches to address complex problems and explore changes to process and tooling to enable research at scale.
Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and owning standalone, reusable Python packages that deliver novel data science solutions fundamental to best-in-class global products and services. You will build processes and tools to support the research of global science methods, including visual dashboards to showcase their approaches. Translating stakeholder requirements into robust, production-ready solutions and collaborating cross-functionally will be key. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members to raise engineering capability and impact.

Experience
- Designing and delivering production-grade analytical Python solutions
- Working with relational databases and SQL-like operations
- Understanding machine learning techniques such as regularised regression, clustering, or tree-based ensembles, with experience applying them using packages like Pandas, sci-kit-learn, and SciPy
- Processing big data, ideally in a Hadoop/Spark environment (beneficial)
- Implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices to improve deployment reliability, testing standards, and release processes

Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data science, computer science, engineering, or related fields preferred
