Senior Database Officer
Location
Hybrid working - a minimum of one day per week in our Aldgate, London head office.
Hours
37.5 hours per week, full-time.
Salary
£40,000 per annum.
Contract
5-month fixed term.

About the Role
As our Senior Database Officer, you will take the lead on key tasks within the Database Services team. Working closely with the Database Manager, you will develop and refine automated processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, and Excel Power Query. Your expertise will help streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and ensure our supporter database runs smoothly and reliably.
You will be a trusted point of contact for the Supporter Care team, providing guidance on manual data entry and helping improve documentation and processes. You will help shape best practice across the organisation, empowering fundraising teams to use the database confidently and effectively. Additionally, you will support two Database Officers in responding to complex queries.

Experience
Proven experience working with fundraising databases for data entry, maintenance, and importation.
Strong understanding of data protection guidelines (GDPR).
Experience using PowerQuery within Excel or M language within Power BI to automate data manipulation.
High level of computer literacy and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
