About the Role
THE·TEAM operates at the epicenter of sports, music and entertainment, serving talent, brands and properties on a global scale. Our Brands and Properties division works with iconic brands and rights holders, supporting business growth through all marketing disciplines. We are a trusted partner to every major league, team and venue, building meaningful connections between brands, properties and fans. Headquartered in Los Angeles, THE·TEAM's presence spans 28 countries and more than 70 cities worldwide.
The Senior Director sits within the Performance team at THE·TEAM, part of the Brands and Properties division. Our focus is to provide a quicker path to audience and commercial growth - bringing fans closer to what they love, and our clients closer to fans to maximise ROI. We are a team of passionate, creative and innovative experts from across the globe who are redefining what digital sponsorship looks like.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who operates with authority across complex accounts and multiple client scopes simultaneously. The Senior Director is a recognised strategic voice in the room - someone who brings thorough understanding of performance marketing and the full sports and entertainment landscape, builds high-trust senior stakeholder relationships and shapes how the agency wins and retains business.
Reporting into the Vice President, you will own and manage multiple senior client scopes simultaneously, ensuring commercial performance and client satisfaction across all accounts. You will deliver seamless financial management including forecasting, reconciliation and budget oversight, lead scope retention and renewal, and identify opportunities for organic growth and incremental revenue.
You will provide clients with strategic insight, act as a senior thought leader, craft compelling stories and strategic narratives independently, and confidently handle complex client, supplier and internal situations.
Additional responsibilities include leading pitch responses and new business proposals, leveraging your external network for new opportunities, driving innovation across service models and tools including AI and emerging technologies, and staying ahead of trends in digital marketing and the sports and entertainment landscape.
You will manage and develop team members across multiple workstreams, set clear standards, ensure consistent high-quality delivery, contribute to annual planning and commercial forecasting, and continuously seek ways to improve team efficiency. You will demonstrate professionalism and emotional maturity in all interactions and act as a key operational link for the UK account team, escalating priorities and surfacing insights that inform business decisions.
