About the Role
As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will work across Market Data, Fund Recharge and the Payments teams. You will play a central role in operating and continuously improving the data and research cost allocation model, building close working relationships with business management teams across Man Group's investment management functions to ensure data and research costs are understood, allocated appropriately and well governed. Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end production of the annual data and research budget and deep-dive reforecasts, managing timelines autonomously and delivering robust, well-reviewed outputs. You will manage data and tools for calculating data cost allocations ensuring accuracy and integrity, produce and present monthly cost reporting and budget variance analysis to senior management, and design controls to ensure correct allocation across large datasets. Additional duties include validating month end processes, invoice review and approval, producing data and research packs for investment management oversight committees, partnering with stakeholders to agree allocation methodologies, driving continuous improvement of departmental processes, supporting data cleansing activities, and contributing to ad-hoc projects as required.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years in a similar financial services role
- Proven experience working in a Finance team; investment management or investment banking exposure advantageous but not essential
- Strong academic background with well-developed mathematical and analytical skills

Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables, sumif and similar functions
- Familiarity with Power BI preferred

- Comfortable learning new systems quickly and applying them effectively
