About the Role
At Amazon, we strive to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One key area we continuously improve is how we fulfil and deliver orders quickly and accurately worldwide. The Fleet Process Excellence (FPE) team, part of International Global Fleet and Products (IGFP), drives measurable cost optimisation across our branded delivery fleet in multiple European countries. We collaborate with internal Last Mile stakeholders and external partners including Delivery Service Providers (DSPs), Fleet Management Companies (FMCs), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). As a Senior Fleet Process Excellence Manager, you will own fleet cost optimisation initiatives from insight to impact. Working closely with our data and insights function, you will translate analytical findings into structured process improvements that deliver measurable savings. You will diagnose root causes, design solutions, drive implementation, and sustain gains across a complex, multi-country environment. This role requires expertise in process excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Kaizen, with the ability to operate independently and influence stakeholders at all levels. You will insist on the highest standards in process execution and deliver results through both quick wins and structural improvements to fleet cost performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and improve fleet cost processes using structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, root cause analysis, value stream mapping) to identify inefficiencies, waste, and cost drivers.
- Translate insights into actionable process improvement recommendations with quantified business cases.
- Own execution end-to-end by designing, piloting, implementing, and sustaining process changes that deliver measurable cost optimisation (CPP reduction, VORR improvement, operational cost savings).
- Drive standardisation by developing and deploying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and playbooks to scale improvements across countries and stations.
- Lead cross-functional projects, managing scope, timeline, and quality commitments while partnering across functions to drive adoption of process improvements.
- Build mechanisms for sustained improvement through audit cadences, control plans, and performance monitoring to embed a continuous improvement culture.
- Facilitate Kaizen and improvement events, leading structured problem-solving workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Communicate impact by presenting project outcomes, savings achieved, and recommendations clearly and confidently to senior leadership.

Requirements

Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
- Proven experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
- Demonstrated success leading process improvements and managing projects and programs.
- Strong business analysis skills with quantitative, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders.

About You
- Practitioner of process excellence methodologies with high independence and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to insist on high standards and deliver measurable results.
- Skilled at building consensus and driving change in a matrixed environment.
- Comfortable coaching and mentoring management-level colleagues.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced, complex international environment.

Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, or transportation is highly desirable.
- Background in financial modeling, P&L management, controls design, or audit experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives.
