About the Role
We are acquiring a personalised memoir book platform as a new venture within the Wonderbly Group. This platform helps people capture their life stories through guided prompts, compiling them into beautifully printed hardcover books that become family heirlooms. The platform has real traction, having fulfilled tens of thousands of orders, built a subscriber base of over 150,000 people, earned outstanding customer satisfaction, and shipped to customers in more than 80 countries.
We believe the platform is significantly underperforming its potential and are looking for a Senior Growth Manager to help unlock that value. Initially, this is a 6-month contract working 3-5 days per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance.
In the near term, your focus will be to maximise revenue from the existing platform, especially through upcoming gifting seasons. Paid channels have been wound down, the CRM is underleveraged, and there is meaningful yield to extract from the existing customer base and audience.
Looking ahead to the new year, as we redesign and relaunch the product, your role will evolve to become the commercial architect of the new experience. You will help shape the go-to-market strategy for the relaunch and drive growth to realise the platform’s full potential.
What is exciting about this role
- You are taking over a real business with existing revenue, brand equity, and a warm audience, not starting from zero
- Significant near-term opportunity to drive yield through channels that have been left largely dormant
- Opportunity to influence the product relaunch from the growth perspective, shaping what we build as well as how we sell it
- The category is meaningful: helping families preserve their stories in a book that lasts forever
What you will do
Near term (now through early 2027)
- Reactivate and scale paid social, Google, and CRM channels on the existing platform
- Drive customer acquisition and conversion through peak gifting seasons
- Extract maximum value from the large existing email audience through structured lifecycle programmes
- Build performance benchmarks and establish what drives acquisition, conversion, and repeat revenue
- Run rapid creative and messaging experiments to sharpen what works
Into 2027 and beyond
- Feed growth insights and customer learnings into product and UX decisions for the relaunch
- Develop the go-to-market strategy and execution plan for the new platform
- Lead the migration of all existing users to the new experience, using it as a reactivation opportunity
Experience
4+ years in growth or marketing, ideally in D2C, subscription, or early-stage environments
Proven track record running paid social and digital acquisition at meaningful scale
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and GA4
Experience testing and scaling new ideas, not just optimising existing ones
Eligible to work in the United Kingdom and available for an initial 6-month contract working 3–5 days per week
Bonus: experience with lifecycle marketing and CRM, particularly Klaviyo
About you
You have operated in situations without a clear playbook, testing your way to answers and turning underperforming funnels into successful ones
Comfortable squeezing yield from existing channels as well as testing new ones
Think naturally in hypotheses and experiments rather than opinions
Combine creative instinct with analytical discipline through creative testing and performance analysis
Comfortable evaluating channel economics, landing pages, and offers to improve performance
Confident working directly with senior leadership and cross-functional product and UX partners
Actively use AI tools in campaign planning, creative testing, or marketing analysis and bring a point of view on where the biggest gains are
