About the Role
The role focuses on supporting clients primarily on insurance investment and Asset Liability Management (ALM) work. You will be expected to win and deliver projects across a diverse range of areas including investment strategy, illiquid assets, credit and market risk modelling, internal model validation, matching adjustment optimisation, liquidity, and sustainable investment. A key part of the role is to win new client engagements and grow both new and existing client relationships, while delivering assignments that blend commercial and technical leadership. The position requires working on a project basis across multiple areas, requiring energy, motivation, and adaptability. You will be part of a collaborative team within a global insurance group that values employee ownership and a people-first culture. Experience
- Status as an industry expert in investment and ALM for UK insurers with proven experience generating propositions and revenue
- Strong strategic business acumen and knowledge of challenges and opportunities facing life and general insurers and reinsurers in the UK, Europe, and beyond
- Excellent consulting and leadership skills with a significant track record of leading large, complex projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting demands
- Demonstrated ability to win work and grow revenue through a strong network of contacts
- Comfortable working in a changing environment with a flexible approach

Qualifications
- Senior actuarial or other relevant professional qualification with deep practitioner-level insurance investment and ALM expertise
- Demonstrable track record in winning work
- Very strong knowledge of current and emerging topics in insurance investment and ALM
- Strong knowledge of Solvency UK and equivalent regulatory regimes such as Solvency II and Bermuda
- Predominantly experienced with life insurers; general insurance experience is beneficial
- A desire to support the company’s purpose and live its values
