About the Role
This is a senior, design-led role for a creative professional who thrives on concept development. You will own the creative response on your projects, taking briefs from initial ideas through mood, materials, and spatial storytelling to create standout schemes in retail, food and beverage, and leisure sectors. The role is hands-on throughout, involving producing drawings and specifications, coordinating consultants, and visiting sites to ensure the design intent is realized.

You will also mentor junior designers, setting the creative standard and helping elevate their work. This position offers autonomy to lead the creative process while remaining actively involved in design execution.

Your responsibilities will include leading concept design, developing schemes with a strong commercial and creative focus, translating client briefs into interiors with a clear point of view, producing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating consultant teams, attending site meetings, and ensuring compliance with building control and planning requirements. The role requires a balance of creative leadership and practical delivery, with a collaborative studio culture that values craft and client relationships.

TwentyOne Twelve is a multidisciplinary studio working globally across branded environments where people shop, eat, drink, and relax. Their work spans retail, food and beverage/hospitality, and leisure sectors, including boutique fit-outs, restaurant concepts, health clubs, spas, and hotels. The studio is known for exceptional attention to detail and long-standing client relationships with luxury brands and well-known high-street names. Experience
- Around seven to ten years' experience in retail, food and beverage, or leisure interiors
- Proven strength in concept design with a portfolio demonstrating original ideas, not just technical drawings
- Experience carrying schemes from initial sketches through to site delivery
- Familiarity with building regulations and current legislation

About you
- A genuinely strong concept designer passionate about creative leadership
- Confident presenting ideas to clients and guiding them through the design process
- Comfortable working on site, including occasional early starts or late finishes
- Collaborative and able to mentor junior designers, setting high creative standards

Qualifications
- Degree in interior architecture, interior design, or architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for visualization and presentation
