About the Role
The Senior Investment Writer role is a key position within Man Group’s Global Marketing team, responsible for producing corporate, investment, marketing and branding content. You will work closely with portfolio managers, investment teams, Sales, Communications, Client Operations and Management to develop and drive an ongoing pipeline of articles and publications. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The role involves editing, drafting and producing thought leadership in both long and short form across multimedia formats including articles, videos, infographics, market insights, press editorials and social media posts. You will manage the editing and publishing process by collaborating with business teams such as investments, compliance, design, digital and channel marketing colleagues. Developing proficiency with Man Group’s content management, compliance and data visualisation/chart-design software is essential.

You will generate compelling content ideas that highlight the value of Man Group’s investment offerings, ensuring all content reflects the brand voice and messaging. Tailoring content for institutional, wealth and intermediary client segments with an understanding of their sophistication and nuances is a key responsibility. You will provide insightful, data-informed recommendations to maximize content impact across promotional channels and stay up to date on relevant financial news.

Experience
At least two years of experience in content marketing and investment thought leadership writing for an investment manager or hedge fund. Proven ability to collaborate across marketing, investments, sales and product teams. Strong knowledge of financial markets, investing and economics.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail as a copy editor and when reviewing charts and numerical analysis. Intellectual curiosity and creativity with the ability to transform technical concepts into clear, concise messages across different media. Superlative editorial judgment to ensure content speaks appropriately to different audiences. Commercial mindset with experience marketing equity, fixed income and alternative asset classes. Driven, self-motivated with a growth mindset, strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications
A university degree at BA/BSc level or higher. Data proficiency to create data visualisations and use data to enhance content effectiveness and strategy. Understanding and implementation of regulatory and compliance requirements.
