About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic, high-performing Legal and Business Affairs team on a permanent, full-time contract. You will work across a broad range of cutting-edge legal matters, collaborating with colleagues from all departments and levels within Southbank Centre. This role involves drafting and negotiating a wide variety of arts, commercial, and real estate contracts, advising on data protection, intellectual property, and regulatory issues, and developing and updating legal templates. You will be part of a small but mighty team supporting Southbank Centre to achieve its strategic priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment.

Experience
- Qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in-house or at a top law firm, ideally with secondment experience
- Expertise in commercial, intellectual property, or related legal fields
- Strong experience managing commercial property transactions
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts
- Confident project management skills in a fast-paced, complex in-house environment
- Strong organisational and legal technology skills, with an interest in using and developing AI tools

Qualifications
