Location
London, UK - Hybrid working with a minimum of 40% face-to-face time (London office, external meetings or travel). Typically 60/40 split with roughly three days remote and two days in person. UK and potential international travel required, liaising with internal stakeholders across varying time zones.

About the Team
The Activation team is part of the Supporter Marketing team, playing a key role in WaterAid’s innovative fundraising programme. The team focuses on long-term income growth by recruiting new individual givers and increasing engagement of existing supporters through audience-led communications across diverse channels and products.
About the Role
As Senior Marketing Officer within the Activation Team, you will manage and deliver Press Inserts campaigns, support the Senior Marketing Manager, and take direct responsibility for exploring and delivering new campaigns, projects and channels. You will also support the delivery of DRTV and Brand programmes and assist with ad hoc team requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of internal and external teams to drive forward innovative storytelling and supporter engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, creative and media agencies, and printers
- Managing key agency relationships and liaising with account managers to deliver campaigns and projects
- Developing strategy, analysis and reporting for ongoing Press Insert campaigns
- Working with the Insight Team and creative agencies to deliver audience-focused communications
- Supporting annual planning, budgeting, monthly cost monitoring and invoice processing
- Identifying and implementing cross-departmental collaboration opportunities
- Championing WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding
Experience
- Proven success in direct marketing, fundraising, supporter activation, supporter engagement or customer marketing roles
- Experience in project management, particularly leading or supporting complex campaigns with multiple stakeholders

No specific qualifications are required; however, relevant marketing or fundraising experience is essential.
