About the Role
An established and rapidly growing Building Services contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its in-house design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to play a key role in delivering high-profile commercial, healthcare, education, residential, industrial, and data centre projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with project delivery teams, clients, consultants, and supply chain partners, you will lead the mechanical design process, provide technical expertise, and support the successful delivery of projects across the UK.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Building Services Design
- Proven experience delivering commercial and industrial MEP projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
- Proficient in industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Hevacomp, IES VE, Cymap; MagiCAD is desirable
- Excellent understanding of current Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance, and British Standards
- Experience leading design and coordination of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, heating and cooling, ventilation, public health services, domestic water services, and drainage above and below ground

About you
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proven ability to mentor and support junior and intermediate engineers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance, performance, and value engineering opportunities
- Full UK Driving Licence

Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
