About the Role
In this Senior Private Banker role, you’ll build and grow your own portfolio of high net-worth clients, becoming their trusted point of contact across banking, lending and investments. Joining at a time of growth, you’ll play a clear part in shaping the future of Weatherbys through the relationships you build and the judgment you bring. Working for Weatherbys means being part of our centuries-long history whilst building a future filled with ambition. Over the last three decades, our finance Group has evolved to provide specialist services across Private Banking, Business Banking, Racing Banking and Arkle Finance – all as part of one Weatherbys family. Now, we’re looking to elevate the people-first service we provide even further, as we help our clients achieve their financial goals for life. To do so, we’ll be investing heavily in our systems, our technology, and above all, in our people. Join us, driving innovative ideas, building the strongest of human connections, and developing finance that puts people first. This role offers the opportunity to join during a defining period of growth across the Bank, build your own client book with real autonomy, work across banking, lending and investments – not a single product role – and be part of a culture built on trust, integrity and long-term relationships. You will have space to deepen client impact, not just grow volume. Your focus will include building and growing a portfolio of high net-worth clients, acting as a trusted contact across banking, lending and investments, developing long-term client relationships based on trust, delivering clear, compliant advice tailored to client needs, and managing risk in line with FCA standards.
Experience
- Proven experience building and growing a client book

- Broad knowledge across private banking, lending or investments
- Sound risk awareness and understanding of FCA requirements
