The EU Transportation Procurement team manages nearly €5 billion in annual transportation spend, negotiating with the largest postal operators and express carriers in Europe to deliver faster, cheaper, and more reliable service for hundreds of millions of customers.
Amazon is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead a significant part of the European Transportation Procurement organization. This senior leadership role holds strategic ownership of the largest procurement portfolio within EU 3P Transportation by both annual spend and program count. The portfolio includes outbound programs (UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and Cross Border) and non-outbound programs (Inbound, WePay, FBA, IPCP, Vendor Returns).
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial leader with sharp commercial acumen and the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams. You will drive multi-country carrier strategies balancing cost optimization, service quality, capacity security, and innovation in a fast-paced environment where decisions directly impact the customer delivery experience at enormous scale.
You will partner closely with Retail Country Managers, DEX, Finance, Legal, Strategic Planning, and 3P Transportation Operations teams. The role requires travel across the countries covered.
Experience
- Extensive experience in transportation and supply chain management
- Proven track record in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
- Experience leading procurement teams and managing large-scale carrier sourcing and contract negotiations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement multi-year procurement strategies aligned with business growth and customer experience goals
- Experience with contract frameworks, compliance, and commercial governance
- Familiarity with AI best practices and scaling GenAI approaches in procurement is a plus
